To round off the decade and to kick off our new Podcast Series, ‘Fertility Springboard’, we had the pleasure of crossing the pond to chat with world renowned fertility expert, Dr. Samantha Pfeifer at Weill Cornell in New York. Having had three children from two IVF rounds under Dr. Pfeifer's care over the past four years, I was personally moved to be back at Cornell, interviewing someone so highly regarded within the field. We put our readers’ questions to her, and more… covering a wide range of fertility topics.
Dr. Pfeifer is an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Clinical Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. A board-certified obstetrician/gynaecologist and reproductive endocrinologist, her specialties include in vitro fertilization, ovulation induction and fertility preservation (egg freezing). Dr. Pfeifer is regularly featured in Castle Connolly's annual Best Doctor list, among other regional and national best-physician lists.
